As reported by Medical Design and Outsourcing, the neurocognitive test developed by Nueterra Capital portfolio company BrainCheck may help identify patients with post-COVID brain fog. The mobile test may also help physicians determine a care plan for patients with post-COVID brain fog, as well as help them track patient cognitive function over time. The test takes 10-15 minutes to complete and factors in the patient’s age in scoring results. BrainCheck Chief Medical Officer Dr. Reza Hosseini Ghomi said the tests will be covered by Medicare and private insurance.  BrainCheck is currently used in over 400 neurology, primary care, and geriatrics practices.

Homebase Partners with Walmart for In-Home Deliveries

Nueterra Capital portfolio company Homebase has partnered with Walmart to provide direct-to-unit deliveries for multi-unit residential communities. For a low monthly fee, the InHome program provides delivery personnel a one-time code for entry into both a building’s main entrance and the resident’s specific unit through Homebase Access, an innovative platform for managing access at multi-unit buildings. This allows Walmart employees to deliver prescription medications securely to a patient’s home (currently in Missouri only), deliver groceries directly into a customer’s refrigerator or freezer, and pick up items for return to Walmart. For added security, customers can watch a livestream of the delivery on their phones or tablets through the InHome app.

Homebase works with property owners and managers of apartments or student housing to create the ultimate smart living resident experience.
