BrainCheck | A Nueterra Capital Portfolio Company

The Small Business Administration (SBA) has awarded Nueterra Capital portfolio company BrainCheck with a $1.5 million grant from its Small Business Innovation Research (SIBR) program. BrainCheck will use the grant to fund a new study to deploy its CARETM program in diverse populations and measure resulting health outcomes, the company announced in a press release. BrainCheck’s platform allows practitioners to map care plan recommendations to cognitive assessments. Repeat assessment and monitoring mean the recommendations are continually optimized for each patient’s individual cognitive condition. This study will (1) quantify improvements in operational efficiency, usability, and provider engagement with cognitive care planning as compared to an ad-hoc approach and (2) compare short- and long-term impacts of the platform on the well-being of both patients and caregivers.
