Nueterra Capital Is Sponsoring the Launch Health Accelerator to Promote Innovation

June 27, 2019 / Jeremy Tasset

Nueterra Capital is partnering with the Economic Development Corporation of Kansas City (EDCKC) and the Downtown Council of Kansas City (DTCKC) on Launch Health Accelerator, the newest accelerator from Launch KC. Launch Health Accelerator’s competitive program serves as a catalyst for early-stage businesses working to disrupt the current healthcare system.

We’re participating as a sponsor for the Launch Health Accelerator because we know that the future of healthcare depends on innovation. As a venture capital firm focused on disrupting traditional healthcare models, we’re in a unique position to help identify, evaluate and support early-stage companies that have the potential to improve healthcare delivery. Our portfolio includes services and technology that have improved the healthcare landscape for providers, payors, and consumers and brought more awareness to the concept of value-based care. By taking a key role in the Launch Health Accelerator, we can use our expertise to both benefit the entrepreneurial community and further advance healthcare reform through innovation.

We’re looking for companies whose products or services can help make healthcare outcomes more predictable, delivery more accessible, costs more transparent, and technology that empowers patients to be true healthcare consumers. Companies accepted into the Launch Health Accelerator will receive a minimum $50,000 equity investment from Nueterra Capital, along with software development work, healthcare and business legal advice, accounting, marketing, and business mentoring from LaunchKC partners. The Launch Health Accelerator starts taking applications today, and the first cohort will begin late this summer.
