Healium Wins NFLPA Pitch Day

Nueterra Capital portfolio company Healium scored a touchdown when it won the 2022 NFLPA Pitch Day on April 29. Sponsored by the NFL Players Association and Truist, NFLPA Pitch Day is focused on entrepreneurs whose products have extensions into the athletic market. Healium and five other companies presented to a panel of judges that included NFLPA Chief Brand Ambassador Marshawn Lynch, veteran NFL linebacker Jaylon Smith, retired WNBA veteran Tamera “TY” Young, 1863 Ventures founder Melissa Bradley and Truist EVP Jeff Dunn. As the winning company, Healium will receive $25,000 in player marketing services from the NFLPA, $25,000 in licensing and marketing services from OneTeam Partners, business resource contributions from Truist, and consultation from Allied Sports and Allied Global Marketing.
