As our chairman, Dan leads Nueterra with an entrepreneurial enthusiasm that is highly infectious. Since 1989, Dan has been in the business of working with physicians to develop surgery centers and surgical hospitals. His experience as a trained CPA providing professional and consulting services to physicians gave him real-world insights about the unique business needs of doctors, and inspired him to start Nueterra. And in his approach to every project, he never forgets the basic mission of his company: to empower physicians. Because Nueterra is a private company, Dan can devote his time to providing strategic direction, as well as motivational leadership and support to the management team. However, he doesn't believe in ivory towers. To keep attune with the challenges and aspirations of health care providers, Dan always makes time to visit with Nueterra's physician partners and those considering working with his Company. Dan's expertise in the field is well recognized, and he is frequently sought out as a speaker on the current state and future direction of physician sponsored ambulatory care.
